The head of R&D Unit, Sendai-Finland Wellbeing Center, Ms. Jutta Immanen-Pöyry, served out her term at the end of March 2011 and went back to Finland. She had devoted to the project since April, 2010.
She had been working actively as a bridge between Finland and Japan for companies, universities and so on by using her expertise based on experiences in a variety of international companies, and former job experience at National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL, previously STAKES).
We had great chance to learn from her such as proactive approaches and concern to other staffs while we had been working with her.
She loved zelkova tree-lined vista at Jozenji Street. In holidays, she had really enjoyed life in Sendai, doing Nordic walking, Cross country skiing, and other activities.
We miss so much cheerful and active Jutta-san, and wish her every success and prosperity in the future.
