FWBC participated in 1st Well Aging Society Summit Asia-Japan as Supporting Organization
FWBC joined the 1st Well Aging Society Summit Asia-Japan organized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan, on 9 October 2018. This international event was held for the first time for promoting investment in the health care business in Japan and expecting to lead to the extension of the health life in the world by creating international cooperative relationships.
Annika Saarikko, Minister of Family Affairs and Social Services, Finland, gave a key note speech titled “Well Aging Society in Finland” and experts, companies, start-ups, VC, and government agencies etc. from all over the world gathered together to discuss on the effort and solution about super aged society. A pitching session themed “Quality Digital Health” was also held on that day where startup companies from Japan and abroad introduced their solutions. A Finnish startup from Finland, Video Visit Global Ltd. offering tele-health services won Link-J Award.
As one of the supporting organizations among 66, FWBC joined the event and had a great opportunity to gain global trend and knowledge, as well as to meet various professionals and startups. In the event, Dr. Sinikka Salo, Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, the former Director of FWBC also attended and we exchanged updates each other and cherished our memories during she spent her days in Sendai as well.
